Jasper Lyon studied sculpture at Central School of Art and Design in London before going on to the Royal College of Art to take a diploma in bronze casting. His working life has been concerned with the many aspects of sculpture and the creative process. These included working in fine art foundries ( UK, France and Columbia ), TV (Spitting Image) Film, teaching ( Winchester School of Art, Wimbledon College of Arts , Slade ), designing and modelling figures for numerous museums in Britain, France and Canada.

Now based in St.Martin de Connée in France, he is a sculptor who's work veers between the realistic and the imaginary.
